Centrally located, many area attractions are within minutes of Top of the Hill RV Resort. San Antonio's River Walk, Sea World, Fiesta Texas and Six Flags Water Park are less than 30 minutes away. For golfers, the picturesque grounds of four nearby courses will challenge your game. Historic Boerne, Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Luckenbach, will allow full expression of your shopping savvy. Increase your sense of history by touring the Alamo, President Lyndon Johnson's boyhood home at the LBJ ranch near Johnson City or the World War II Museum in Fredericksburg. The Boerne Chamber of Commerce, Comfort Chamber of Commerce and the Boerne Texas Convention and Visitors Bureau are excellent sources of local information.

Historic Boerne District
Boerne, Texas, located just 40 minutes from San Antonio; you’ll find the charming historic district of downtown Boerne.  Boerne is a mixture of quaint antique boutiques, with charming hospitality and delicious restaurants and cafes.  Stroll along Main Street and enjoy galleries, museums, antique shopping, turn-of-the-century architecture, gardens and river way.  Boerne provides all the ambiance of a larger city, with a relaxing setting for a gateway vacation.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Entertainment is the name of the game at the 200-acre Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The park offers distinctly themed areas, each reflecting a part of the state's vast culture, through design, food and, of course, entertainment. Seven large theaters located in the miniature villages offer ongoing musical and comedy shows. San  Antonio Zoo

Sea World

The Alamo

The Riverwalk

Scenic Drives and Places to See

Hill Country Scenic Drives
Take a day trip to see the scenic Hill Country and view the tree-studded limestone hills to the claim of "Texas' friendliest people".  The clear running streams only add to the charm of the historic towns.  In the month of April see the famous Blue Bonnets and other wildflowers.  Day touring can be done in several days, but it's best to absorb them at a slow pace.

A Cave Without a Name
Impressive limestone formations that surround the Hill Country, there’s a special cave; A Cave Without a Name.  It is considered one of the least known by tourist and breathtaking as it is named.  The cave is easily accessible and it is a comfortable 66 degree climate to visit year round for the entire family. www.cavewithoutaname.com 830-537-4212.

Bat Cave
Home to thousands of Mexican free trailed bats.  View their nightly exodus June through October, just 15 miles outside of Comfort.  886-990-2287

Enchanted Rock
A Texas State Park with over 1600 acres on Big Sandy Creek.  The rock is a huge, pink granite exfoliation dome that rises 425 feet above ground.  Enjoy primitive backpacking, camping, climbing or even a simple picnic.  www.tpwd.state.tx.us/park/enchantd 325-247-3903

Vineyards
Texas wineries in the Hill Country are as beautiful to see, experience as they are to taste!  Texas Hill Country is home to these locations:  Sister Creek Vineyards, Comfort Cellars, Becker’s, Dry Comal Creek, and many more.  All specializing in varieties of Cabernets, blush, Chardonnays, Ports, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir and many other varieties.  These vineyards are a brilliant experience to see the Hill Country at its best.  Vineyard tour maps are available in the General Store.
